Debra Poneman
Debra Poneman is woman who embodies her own teachings.
Debra spent the decade of the ‘70’s living in India and Europe spending months at a time in silence and meditation while studying ancient Vedic knowledge at the feet of the great Indian Master, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. During her time back in the states, she taught meditation to thousands of people throughout the US.
In 1980 Debra discovered the works of the great Masters of western esoteric thought, such as Napoleon Hill, Wallace Wattles and Florence Shinn – men and women who espoused principles like the now popular Law of Attraction. Knowing the world needed this information; she founded her company Yes to Success to share, in contemporary terms, not only this Law but the huge body of life-changing concepts that up until then had been the sole domain of groups such as the Science of Mind, founded by Ernest Holmes in 1928.
Within a few short years, her seminars were being taught in dozens of US cities and in seven countries around the world. Among her clients were Fortune 500 companies and international associations. Among her students were people who, using the principles they learned from Debra went on to became New York Times best-selling authors such as Marci Shimoff and Janet Atwood; world-renown trainers like Steve Farber, founder of Extreme Leadership; and even household names, like Deepak Chopra.
In 1988 with a book deal in hand, an infomercial running in thirty-two markets, and negotiations underway for her own national TV talk show; true to her teachings, Debra gave it all up when she realized she had a greater passion – that of being a mom at home.
For over twenty years Debra disappeared from the public eye and is now back to tell the rich story of those years including the numerous trips to India to teach her children the importance of service, the many saints and sages from both the east and west she hosted in her home, the best-selling book she was asked to write only because she followed her heart, and the triple Bat Mitzvah celebrated by her, her 85 year old mother and 13 year old daughter.
She is also back to once again share the energetic realities of how true and lasting success and happiness are created - and how to always say YES to Success.
